When independence doesn’t mean you have to do it alone.
CREATIVE PARTNERSHIP
The Boyce L. Ansley School
These projects embody greaterWE’s ethos of service, sustainability, and shared ownership, demonstrating how we can facilitate creative, purpose-driven collaborations that benefit artists, communities, and partner organizations alike. It’s a clear example of how greaterWE brings its values to life by supporting ethical, cross-sector partnerships that create lasting impact.
WORK OF ART
SONGWRITING PROGRAM + FUNDRAISER SINGLE
Work of Art is the culmination of a 12 Week Songwriting Program led by singer-songwriter Chad Price in partnership with greaterWE and The Boyce L. Ansley School, a tuition-free school in Atlanta serving children who have experienced homelessness.
Over the course of the program, Chad worked directly with students in grades 3-5 to explore songwriting as a form of emotional expression, storytelling, and healing. Together, they wrote the lyrics, shaped the melody, and recorded the vocals — with students not only contributing to the writing, but also singing on the final recording.
The result is Work of Art: a song about imperfection, resilience, and learning to find strength in your story. It reflects the students’ voices both literally and figuratively, and stands as a powerful piece of creative work they helped bring into the world.
OVER THE COURSE OF THE PROJECT, WE:
Launched a 12-week collaborative songwriting program with Ansley students
Authored and implemented a proprietary arts education curriculum
Wrote, recorded, produced, and released original song “Work of Art” (May 22, 2025)
Structured collaborative ownership model (75% master / 80% publishing retained by Ansley)
Established long-term distribution and royalty collection infrastructure
Streaming and licensing proceeds flow directly to support school operations
Helped contribute to over $1M raised through associated gala and showcase efforts
